We made a pit stop in Kurland today as we continued along the Garden Route. Here, the names say it all: elephant sanctuary, Monkey Land, Birds of Eden, Nature’s Valley. Outdoor lovers will never want to leave. And why would they? Unforgettable hikes await in the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountains that tower overhead, and Plettenberg Bay is famous for its whale watching from July to December. This is also a great place to see dolphins and seals. We ended up in Humansdorp by day’s end.
